WATER-STOP
A lightweight, flexible bonded sheet waterproofing membrane for concealed wet area and above-ground applications.
Description
WATER-STOP is a fully bonded, lightweight and flexible sheet waterproofing membrane installed over prepared substrates.
The membrane is installed as a concealed layer within a waterproofing build-up. It is covered by the specified screed, topping, tiling or protection layer once installed and inspected.
Substrate requirements, primers, junction and penetration detailing form part of the installed system and should be confirmed for the project.
Typical applications
- •Concealed wet area waterproofing beneath tiled or screeded finishes
- •Prepared masonry, concrete and sheet substrates confirmed as suitable
- •Build-ups where a fully bonded sheet membrane is specified
Limitations
- •WATER-STOP must not be left exposed. It is a concealed membrane and requires the specified covering or protection layer.
- •It is not a wearing surface and is not intended to take pedestrian or vehicular traffic in service.
- •Substrate suitability, priming and detailing must be confirmed with Ozone for the specific project.
