BiWax
A solvent-based protective wax system of primers and topcoats for concealed, non-trafficable protection and waterproofing.
Description
BiWax is a single-component, ready-to-use protective wax coating system made up of primers and topcoats selected to suit the substrate and the exposure of the element being protected.
The system is applied as a continuous film and is intended for concealed protection where the finished coating is covered or otherwise not subject to foot or vehicle traffic.
The correct primer and topcoat combination depends on the substrate, its condition and the exposure conditions. Ozone can review the substrate and nominate the system for the application.
Typical applications
- •Concealed concrete surfaces that are not trafficked
- •Below-ground and covered structural elements
- •Substrates prepared and assessed as suitable prior to application
Limitations
- •BiWax is not a trafficable coating and is not intended for pedestrian or vehicular traffic areas.
- •Performance depends on substrate preparation, moisture condition, film build and site conditions at the time of application.
- •Suitability for any particular substrate or exposure must be confirmed in writing by Ozone before use.
