Ozone Polypropylene Fibres
Synthetic polypropylene fibres added to concrete mixes at the dosage nominated for the project.
Description
Ozone Polypropylene Fibres are synthetic fibres added to concrete and mortar mixes as nominated by the project designer.
Fibre length, type and dosage are set by the element design and the mix in use. Ozone supplies to the nominated specification.
Trial batching is recommended so that the effect of the fibre on workability and finishing can be assessed before production use.
Typical applications
- •Concrete mixes where synthetic fibre has been nominated
- •Slabs, toppings and sprayed applications with a specified fibre dosage
- •Projects where trial batching can be carried out
Limitations
- •Fibre type and dosage must be nominated by the project designer; Ozone does not design the reinforcement.
- •Fibre addition affects workability and finishing and should be assessed by trial mix.
- •Ozone does not claim structural capacity for concrete on the basis of fibre addition alone.
